Fast Target Search for Eight-Camera Systems
The Dahua DHI-NVR4108-8P-EI is an 8-channel WizSense network video recorder designed for small and medium-sized businesses that need efficient event investigation. With select compatible IP cameras, QuickPick 2.0 helps operators search for human and vehicle targets using attributes such as clothing color, vehicle color, hats, clothing types and vehicle types. AI Search also supports queries based on target attributes and event categories.
Flexible Recorder-Side and Camera-Side Analytics
Built-in AI resources include one channel of face detection and recognition, two channels of perimeter protection and four channels of SMD Plus. The recorder supports up to 10 face databases containing 20,000 images. Compatible intelligent cameras can contribute face analytics, perimeter protection, SMD, ANPR, people counting, stereo analysis and heat-map data, depending on the connected camera's capabilities.
High-Resolution Recording with Direct PoE Connections
Eight IEEE 802.3af/at PoE ports simplify camera deployment by carrying video and power over Ethernet. The ports share a 78 W budget, while a single port can provide up to 25.5 W. The recorder accepts IP cameras up to 16 MP and delivers up to 256 Mbps incoming, recording and outgoing bandwidth when recorder AI is disabled.
- Conditional decoding: Supports up to eight 4 MP streams at 30 fps with recorder AI disabled, or eight 1080p streams at 30 fps with AI enabled.
- Local storage: One SATA interface supports one HDD up to 20 TB, subject to operating conditions.
- Display options: Provides HDMI output up to 4K and VGA output up to 1080p with configurable simultaneous or heterogeneous display.
- Interoperability: Supports ONVIF Profiles T, S and G, together with CGI and SDK integration.
