Why Choose a Dahua Turret Camera?
The eyeball-style housing allows the camera head to be positioned within the model's supported adjustment range. This is useful when installing cameras under eaves, on ceilings or in locations where the viewing direction needs to be set during installation.
Unlike dome models with a transparent outer cover, many turret cameras have an exposed lens and illumination assembly. This removes one possible source of infrared reflection from a curved dome cover, although nearby walls and other reflective surfaces can still affect nighttime images.
Installation Considerations
Before ordering, check the camera's dimensions, mounting arrangement and available accessories.
When installing a turret camera close to a wall or beneath an overhang, make sure the lens and built-in illuminators have a clear view without nearby surfaces obstructing or reflecting light into the image.
Compatible junction boxes and wall-mount accessories vary by model.
