Active Deterrence in a Compact Eyeball Design
The Dahua DH-IPC-HDW2449T-S-PV is a 4 MP Smart Dual Light eyeball network camera for storefronts, entrances, offices and other areas where a low-profile camera should both record and respond to security events. When a configured perimeter rule is triggered, its built-in light and speaker can issue visible and audible warnings. Multiple warning voices are available, and customized voice files can also be imported.
Capture Key Events in Color Without Continuous Warm Light
At night, Smart Dual Light normally uses infrared illumination for discreet monitoring. When a target enters the defined area, the warm light activates so the camera can capture key footage in color. After the target leaves, the camera returns to infrared mode. Both infrared and warm-light illumination have a stated maximum distance of 30 metres.
- 2.8 mm lens: Provides a 101.6° horizontal field of view for wider entrances and shared spaces.
- 3.6 mm lens: Provides an 84° horizontal field of view for more concentrated scene coverage.
- Target filtering: Tripwire, intrusion and SMD Plus classify human and vehicle events.
Combine Video, Audio and Local Recording
The camera includes a microphone and speaker for two-way communication through compatible clients. It records 2688 × 1520 video at up to 20 fps or 2560 × 1440 at up to 25/30 fps. A MicroSD card up to 256 GB can provide local storage, while Smart Search works with a compatible Smart NVR for refined event review. The IP67-rated housing supports either 12 VDC or PoE installation.
