The Hikvision DS-2SF8C442MXG-EL/26 TandemVu PTZ camera integrates an ultra-wide panoramic bullet channel and a high-speed 42× optical zoom PTZ channel into a single heavy-duty unit. The 6 MP panoramic channel delivers continuous 190° situational awareness with 12° to 24° manual tilt adjustment, while the 4 MP PTZ channel provides 360° endless pan and -20° to 90° tilt to inspect distant subjects without ever losing sight of the overall perimeter.

DarkFighter Imaging and Intelligent Linkage Tracking

Equipped with Hikvision DarkFighter technology, the PTZ channel offers exceptional low-light sensitivity (0.0005 Lux in color) and nighttime visibility up to 300 meters with smart IR illumination. Meanwhile, the panoramic channel utilizes an F1.0 aperture and 30-meter white light for round-the-clock full-color monitoring.

The panoramic channel continuously monitors the fixed 190-degree field of view. When its deep-learning analytics detect a human or vehicle crossing a defined boundary, it automatically triggers the PTZ channel to rotate, zoom in, and track the target while the panoramic channel continues recording the full scene.
What are the power requirements for this TandemVu PTZ camera?

The camera requires either 36 VDC (± 25%) or a Hi-PoE power source with a maximum power consumption of 60 W (including internal heaters and supplemental illumination). Standard 802.3af/at PoE switches do not supply sufficient wattage; a dedicated 60 W Hi-PoE injector or 36 VDC power supply is required.
Does the camera deliver full-color video at night on both channels?

The panoramic channel provides continuous 24/7 full-color imaging using an F1.0 large aperture and 30-meter supplemental white light. The PTZ channel uses DarkFighter low-light technology with 300-meter smart IR, switching between color in low ambient light and clear infrared black-and-white in complete darkness.
What mounting hardware is required for installation?

Due to its physical dimensions (Φ 290 mm × 453.2 mm) and weight (approximately 10.5 kg / 23.15 lb), the camera requires dedicated heavy-duty mounting brackets such as the optional DS-1603ZJ-P wall mount, DS-1661ZJ-P pendant mount, or DS-1603ZJ-Pole-P pole mount.
