Direct PoE Connectivity for Every Camera Channel
The Dahua DHI-NVR5216-16P-XI is a 16-channel, 1U WizMind network video recorder built for commercial sites that need a complete camera deployment without separate PoE switching. Its 16 integrated IEEE 802.3af/at ports provide direct network and power connections for all supported channels. Ports 1–8 also support Dahua ePoE technology.
Faster Review with AcuPick and Structured Analytics
AcuPick combines compatible camera intelligence with recorder-side processing to help operators locate relevant targets within large volumes of recorded video. The NVR also provides face detection and recognition, video metadata, perimeter protection and SMD Plus. Its metadata engine extracts attributes from people, motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles, supporting more focused event investigation.
Face management supports up to 20 databases containing a combined 200,000 images. Camera-side functions can additionally include ANPR, stereo analysis, heat maps and people counting when supported by the connected intelligent cameras.

- High-resolution access: Supports IP cameras with resolutions up to 32 MP.
- Conditional bandwidth: Provides 512 Mbps incoming, recording and outgoing bandwidth with recorder AI disabled, or 200 Mbps with it enabled.
- Dual-drive storage: Two SATA interfaces each support one HDD up to 20 TB, subject to environmental temperature.
- PoE capacity: The 16 ports share a total output budget of 200 W, with up to 25.5 W available from one port.
