The Dahua DHI-NVR616H-32-XI is a 32-channel, 3U WizMind network video recorder developed for enterprise sites where retention and storage resilience are central design priorities. Its 16 drawer-style SATA bays support hot-swappable drives, making the recorder suitable for control rooms, industrial facilities and other systems that need substantial storage capacity without expanding to a higher camera count.
Each SATA bay supports one HDD with a stated capacity of up to 20 TB, subject to environmental temperature. RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10 provide multiple ways to balance usable capacity, performance and drive-failure protection. An eSATA interface is also available for compatible external expansion equipment.
Investigation Tools Beyond Basic Recording
AcuPick combines front-end and back-end intelligence to search recorded video for relevant people and vehicles. The recorder processes AcuPick, face analysis and video metadata across eight channels, while perimeter protection and SMD Plus extend across up to 32 channels. Four-channel PPE detection can also evaluate configured workwear and hat requirements in applicable environments.
