Enterprise Recording for Large Camera Networks

The Dahua DHI-NVR608H-64-XI is a 64-channel, 2U WizMind network video recorder for enterprise, campus, industrial and multi-building surveillance projects. Its processing platform supports IP cameras up to 32 MP and delivers up to 1280 Mbps incoming and recording bandwidth when recorder-side AI is disabled. Four HDMI and two VGA outputs provide flexible control-room viewing across multiple displays.

Turn Recorded Events into Searchable Evidence

Recorder-side intelligence includes eight-channel AcuPick, eight-channel face detection and recognition, eight-channel video metadata and four-channel PPE detection. For wider event coverage, the NVR also processes perimeter protection and SMD Plus across up to 32 channels. AcuPick uses front-end and back-end intelligence together, so compatible cameras are required to search efficiently for relevant people and vehicles.

Face management supports up to 40 databases containing a combined 300,000 images. Video metadata can extract attributes from people, motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles, while PPE detection evaluates workwear and hats for configured compliance scenarios.

Storage Architecture for Long-Term Projects

  • Eight SATA bays: Each installed HDD can have a stated capacity of up to 20 TB, subject to environmental temperature.
