First, you need to get the right file from the official source.
1. To download latest NVR firmware, please email support@hitosino.com to request technical assistance and apply for the newest firmware version for your NVR.

Hitosino eventually stops releasing firmware updates for older NVR models. If you cannot find a firmware file for your exact model on the official website, it likely means your device has reached the end of its support life.

2. When contacting us, make sure to include the following information:
- The exact model number of your NVR
- Your valid email address
- A brief explanation stating that you would like to download the latest firmware
3. Once we receive your request, we'll send you a firmware download link via email (typically within 24 hours).
4. Once you receive the firmware package, copy it to your desktop for easy access.

Steps:
1. Go to Menu → Maintenance → Upgrade.
2. Select Local Upgrade, choose the USB drive, and find the firmware file.
3. Click the file, confirm with “Yes,” and wait for the system to reboot automatically.
Method 2: Upgrade via Web Browser
Steps：
1. Enter the device IP address in the IE browser. Login by inputting username and password.
2. Navigate to Configuration → System → Maintenance → Upgrade & Maintenance.
3. Select the previously saved firmware file.
