16-Channel 8K Network Video Recorder
The Hikvision DS-9616NI-M8 is a professional 2U network video recorder designed for commercial buildings, industrial facilities, campuses, transportation sites, retail environments, and other multi-camera surveillance systems. It supports up to 16 IP camera inputs, with 320 Mbps incoming bandwidth and 400 Mbps outgoing bandwidth for centralized video recording and network transmission.
8K Display and Flexible Video Decoding
The recorder supports HDMI video output up to 8K resolution or dual 4K resolution according to the selected display configuration. Independent HDMI and VGA interfaces provide main and auxiliary display options. The detailed decoding capability includes 2-channel 32MP, 3-channel 24MP, 4-channel 16MP, 6-channel 12MP, 8-channel 8MP, and 16-channel 5MP video at 30 fps.
Expandable Storage with RAID Support
The DS-9616NI-M8 provides 8 hot-plug SATA interfaces and 1 eSATA interface for compatible storage expansion. RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5, RAID 6, and RAID 10 are supported for configurable storage redundancy. The recorder also supports 16-channel synchronous playback and dual-stream recording to help balance storage use and network bandwidth.
Smart Camera and POS Integration
The recorder supports compatible special camera functions, including VCA events, ANPR, people counting, heat maps, and fisheye camera applications. POS information can be overlaid on live view and playback, while POS-triggered recording and alarm functions support retail, commercial, and transaction-monitoring systems.
