4MP ANPR Camera for Vehicle Access Control
The Hikvision iDS-2CD7A46G0/P-IZHS series is a 4MP ANPR IR varifocal bullet network camera designed for vehicle checkpoints, parking entrances, road traffic monitoring, and access-control applications. It uses a 1/1.8-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor and provides up to 2688 × 1520 resolution. DarkFighter technology supports improved low-light imaging, while 140 dB WDR helps balance bright and dark areas in high-contrast traffic scenes.
License Plate and Vehicle Attribute Recognition
Embedded deep-learning algorithms support license plate capture and recognition for vehicles and motorcycles in checkpoint scenarios. The camera also supports vehicle attribute detection, including vehicle type, color, brand, and driving direction. Blocklists and allowlists can be configured with up to 10,000 records. Under recommended installation and lighting conditions, the datasheet specifies a license plate recognition rate of 98% and a capture rate of 99%.
Flexible Lens and Traffic-Scene Configuration
The series is available with a 2.8–12 mm or 8–32 mm motorized varifocal lens. The lens selection affects the field of view, capture distance, and recommended installation layout. The camera supports front installation in checkpoint scenarios at vehicle speeds up to 120 km/h and side installation at speeds up to 80 km/h according to the datasheet conditions.
Parking Management and Perimeter Protection
In distant-view mode, the camera supports status detection for up to 40 parking spaces, parking-duration detection, and vacant parking-space alarms. In close-view mode, it supports up to 4 parking spaces, license plate recognition, parking-timeout alarms, and vacant-space alarms. Perimeter functions include intrusion, line crossing, region entrance, and region exiting detection with human and vehicle target classification.
