The Dahua DH-IPC-HFW2849TL-S-PRO is an 8 MP WizColor fixed-focal bullet network camera available with 2.8 mm, 3.6 mm and 6 mm lenses. The 2.8 mm option provides a 110° horizontal view for broad scene coverage, while the 3.6 mm and 6 mm versions narrow the view to 93° and 57° for progressively more concentrated framing.
Color Detail in Low-Illumination Scenes
A 1/1.8-inch CMOS sensor, F1.0 aperture and AI-ISP help the camera retain color and target details when available light is limited. Four built-in warm-light illuminators provide additional lighting, with the stated maximum distance varying by lens: 20 metres for 2.8 mm, 30 metres for 3.6 mm and 50 metres for 6 mm.
The camera outputs 3840 × 2160 video at up to 20 fps and supports 2688 × 1520 at up to 25 or 30 fps. Super AI Coding uses object detection and scene recognition with ROI-based processing to improve encoding efficiency for bandwidth- and storage-conscious installations.
