The Hikvision DS-2CD2543G2-IS / DS-2CD2543G2-IWS is a 4 MP AcuSense Fixed Mini Dome Network Camera designed for space-conscious, high-discretion surveillance across retail counters, corporate offices, hotel corridors, and building entry points. Powered by a 1/3" progressive scan CMOS sensor, it delivers clear 2.5K QHD video (2688 × 1520 @ 25/30 fps) with low-light color sensitivity down to 0.005 Lux. When configured for line crossing or intrusion detection, the camera generates alerts only when a person or vehicle breaches the designated zone, eliminating up to 90% of nuisance alarms.
Does this camera support audio recording and external alarms?

Yes. The camera comes standard with a built-in microphone featuring environmental noise filtering for live audio capture. The -IS and -IWS models also provide external terminal blocks for 1 audio line-in, 1 audio line-out, and 1 alarm input / 1 alarm output (max. 12 VDC, 20 mA) to connect external sirens or sensors.
